The burial ground was established in 1733 and closed in 1855. After World War II damage and the church’s demolition, 
much of the stonework and gravestones were relocated or reused, including in Potters Fields Park. Today, the site serves 
as a public garden surrounded by housing and offices.

Around 18,000 burials are recorded in the parish registers.
